Call for Artists: Greenwood-Phinney Annual Art Walk

The 14th annual Greenwood-Phinney ArtWalk is open to all 2D and 3D visual artists in the greater Puget Sound area. The ArtWalk will be May 8 and 9, 2009. Entry deadline is March 6, 2009.

A Call for Artists with additional information about the event and the entry form is available on the Artwalk website and on the Phinney Neighborhood Association website.

Please note that the Greenwood-Phinney Annual Artwalk is coordinated through the Phinney Neighborhood Association and Greenwood Arts Council and is a juried event. The new Greenwood-Phinney Monthly Art Walk is not juried and artists interested in showing on a monthly basis should contact participating businesses directly. The Annual Art Walk happens each year in May starting the 2nd Friday weekend. The monthly art walk is every month on 2nd Fridays EXCEPT for May.

Seattle Urban Art Collab at Bherd Studios

It's always interesting to see a couple of artists collaborating on their pieces. This is not the first time that they've collaborated together, as you can see with the final picture a finished piece from last year. Yesterday, John Osgood & Cash, who currently has his work featured in our gallery for our "C Squared" show, collaborated on a couple more canvases together. Here are some photos of their work in progress...


The colors are definitely Cash style in these pieces.





You can see the Osgood tree influence in this one as well as, the owl faces.

CASH - Seattle Urban Artist at Bherd Studios in January

CASH is a young Seattle urban artist that will be featuring his works at Bherd Studios for our January show starting on Friday, January 9th from 6-9pm. The show will continue through January 30th.
