John submitted "Red Bird Branch" as one of his sample works
for the poster contest.
Forgive me for tooting John's horn here, but I'm a proud wife. The Arts Council of Snohomish County recently announced that John was selected for the Fresh Paint Poster commission for this years festival. John will be working with the ACSC to create a custom poster which will be unveiled the beginning of May. The festival takes place August 15 & 16 and featues artists in action. They are still taking applications from artists to participate for 2009.
