Bridge[d] Artwork: hanging outside

Here are two pictures of a couple of pieces that I did for the grand opening of Johnson Architecture's & Footprint Developments new urban sustainable homes. The location is in the Fremont/Wallingford area. (If you were heading North from Queen Anne on Aurora, you go over the bridge, and take your first exit, the homes are on you right hand side. And that is where you will be able to see the artwork.) I only had about a month to work on four pieces. The two biggest pieces are 16' x 4', another one is 4' x 8', and the smallest one is 4' x 4'. This was a fun project and a very consuming one. Trying to complete these paintings in a small amount of time, and in a limited area, was a challenging feat to complete. But I was able to complete just in the nick of time.

I am really happy that was able to get a weather protecting clear coat on all of the paintings. If you haven't noticed, the weather is nasty out there right now. If you are into looking at artwork, both 2D and 3D, and you like looking at new homes, I definitely recommend going to the open house that they are putting on that is in conjunction with the Fremont First Friday Art Walk (Friday, April 3rd). http://bridgedart.blogspot.com/

Thanks for your comment guys! The pieces are not going to be up there permantly, from what I know. When the units sell it will be up to the owners if they want to buy them and keep them. ( I am hoping that a purchase will be made.)

We live on 43rd and Woodland Park Ave N and we drive by this place everyday and LOVE seeing your art. It even made us want to live there. My fiance, Kevin "Sensei 23" Sullivan is an artist himself and love seeing urban art in different places around Seattle. Thanks for making the area that much more INTERESTING!!!
